Georgetown's Street Art
April 4, 2014
Georgetown is a colonial city on an island to the west of the Malaysian mainland. Historically known for its colonial city centre, with shops dating from the 19th century to the 1930s, more recently it has become popular for its growing street art scene.

Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic was commissioned to produce street art in Penang by the Municipal Council in 2012 under the auspices of the UNESCO world heritage framework. Since then more and more art has appeared making walking around the old town even more interesting.
