A polar bear sits in his pool keeping cool in the hot and humid atmosphere at Singapore Zoo. The zoo is one of the best in the world, renowned for spacious natural enclosures and free-roaming animals.

Singapore’s National Parks Board has invested huge amounts of money in the upkeep of its parks and the surrounding jungle and the education of its people about the environment. The city state has four nature reserves and more than 300 parks, and has even built a canopy walk, making it possible for anyone get up into the treetops and experience nature.
